A Kiss of Blood - Pamela Palmer The second book in the Vamp City series by Pamela Palmer did not disappoint. We pick up about a month after Quinn and her brother get out of Vamp City, thanks to the dark and untrustworthy - yet sexy as hell - Arturo. A series of events bring both Quinn and Zack back to Vamp City, and they are forced to work with, and trust Arturo who is determined to earn Quinn's trust. Arturo regrets several of the choices he made in their earlier interactions and seeing him try to make things right, and peeking into his inner thoughts was a lot of fun for me. Quinn, understandably, has some issues working with Arturo. But in her defense, she doesn't just fall back into bed with him. In her situation I probably would have! He is a pretty sexy beast. She is also a lot more confident, which makes sense having gone through what she has. I liked her a lot more in [b:A Kiss of Blood|16065477|A Kiss of Blood (Vamp City, #2)|Pamela Palmer|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1356279403s/16065477.jpg|21856116] than in [b:A Blood Seduction|12907355|A Blood Seduction (Vamp City, #1)|Pamela Palmer|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1325986333s/12907355.jpg|18061985].Overall, this is a great follow-up to a great book, and I very much look forward to future installments in the Vamp City series from Ms. Palmer.
